When you think it can’t get any better nuttier, it does.  A few examples:

Maxine Water, representative from California, announced she would not attend the President’s address to congress.  (I suspect she was tied up trying to find where in Korea the Russians had invaded.)  In addition some Democrats said they would not shake the President’s hand before or after his address.  (It’s a wonder that with heartbreaks such as these, Trump could make it through his address without breaking down.)

Nancy Pelosi say, “We [Democrats] are trying to unite the country.”  Then she goes on to say they are being stymied by Trump and his supporters.  (Let me get this straight now,  trying to block every Trump nominee,  sending professional protesters to Republican townhalls to disrupt them,  calling Trump’s cabinet a bunch of scumbags,  calling Trump’s supporters just about anything despicable, calling for Trump’s impeachment, and on and on; is trying to unite the country?   Yep that’ll do it for sure.)

A majority of the 66 women representatives and delegates in the House Democratic Women’s Working Group sported all-white or mostly white ensembles to the event to support women’s rights. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi tweeted, writing, “Tonight, our Democratic #WomenWearWhite in support of women’s rights — in spite of a @POTUS who doesn’t!”  (Read “abortion on demand” instead of “women’s rights”.  Maybe that is why Maxine couldn’t make it – she doesn’t own a white dress.)

Penquin Books have signed the Obamas to $60 million book deals.  Books are to be about their years in the White House.  (I didn’t know that books on golfing, travel, and lunch menus were so lucrative.)
