What’s the Difference

On May 24, 2022 in Uvalde, Texas an angry or deranged young man entered a school through an unlocked door and proceeded to kill 19 young children, kill two teachers, and wounded a number of others much made possible by the incompetence of the police.

People all over the country mourned the senseless slaughter of these children and the adults. It was pointed out repeatedly that these youngsters would not experience all the good things that were in store for them over the span of their lives. Their parents would no longer be able to hold them, to hug them, and be proud of their achievements. That was all snuffed out in a matter of minutes.

Then there were those who immediately used these deaths to make political points. That included the President and most of the political party he represents. Up went the cry, “The blood of these children and teachers is on the hands of the GOP and the NRA.”

A few days later the President and First Lady visited Uvalde and rightly so expressed their condolences to the families of those who lost their loved ones, but also using the occasion to score political points blaming Republicans, the NRA, and others for the tragedy.

On June 24, 2022 the Supreme Court overturned the 1973 court’s decision – Roe v Wade. Hysteria broke out amongst pro-abortion supporters including the President and many member of his party. Many falsely claiming that the court had banned all abortions. Many women took to the streets protesting the loss of their supposed right to kill their unborn children and claiming their reproductive rights and health had been taken away.

Now lets think back six months or a year earlier and in the town of Uvalde, Texas there are 19 women who are pregnant. One morning these 19 women individually decide to end their pregnancy and they head to the office of the nearest abortion clinic where the abortionist snuffs out the lives of 19 unborn children who will never see the son rise, see the wonderful things that could have been ahead of them, receive hugs and kisses from their parents, fall in love, and much else.
