Much to do about Russia since Donald Trump took office.  The to do comes from the Democrats.  First it was Hillary lost the election because the Russians and Putin favored Trump and therefore interfered in the election process.  No evidence to support that theory.  Next they claimed it was the Russians hacking the DNC’s email that caused the loss.

Now, aided by the media, the claim is that members of citizen Trump’s team had illegal dealings and conversations with the Russians.  They want investigations, hearings, and impeachment.

What convenient  memories.  Somehow it has been forgotten that Hillary early on in her reign at the State Department, met with the Russian ambassador and presented him with the “reset button” which was to symbolize a new relationship between the US and Russia.  It did. It went downhill.

They have seemingly forgot that when Mitt Romney said in a debate with Obama prior to the 2012 elections that Russia was our biggest threat  and he was treated like a fool by Obama, the Democrats, and the press.  How ignorant can he be? He obviously doesn’t know anything about foreign policy they all said.

A short time later, Obama was overheard speaking to the Russian President and saying, “Tell Vladimir I can be more flexible after the election.”  What did that mean you suppose?  I don’t recall the press ever asking.

Then Russian invaded and occupied the Crimea area of Ukraine.  Did the US come to the aid of Ukraine?  Well, indeed we did – we sent them blankets.  No arms to help ward off the Russians – just blankets.  Boy that showed the Russians not to fool with us or we’ll smother them with bed covers.

Now to be fair, Obama did put some sanctions on some of the Russian people as he went out the door.  Not because they invaded Ukraine, but because he had concluded  on circumstantial evidence that Russia had hacked the DNC.
